Terms of Service

Poly is a flashcard app for creating, studying, and remembering information. You are responsible for the content you create and for using the app in line with these terms and applicable law.

Poly gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's usage rules. If Poly is distributed through the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application terms also apply unless a custom license is provided in App Store Connect.

You own the decks and flashcards you create. Poly stores this content locally on your device by default, and optionally in your private iCloud account if you enable iCloud Sync as a Pro user.

You may not use Poly to create, submit, or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or deceptive content. You may not interfere with the app, bypass usage limits, misuse AI generation, or attempt to access systems or data that do not belong to you.

Poly's AI features send your prompt and any content you include in that prompt to a third-party AI provider to generate flashcards. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated cards before relying on them, and you should not treat them as professional, medical, legal, financial, or academic advice.

Pro Lifetime is a one-off purchase. AI+ is a recurring monthly subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and payment rules. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings.

Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple according to Apple's App Store policies. Prices, features, and limits may change, but changes will not reduce access you already purchased for the current paid period.

AI+ includes a set number of AI credits per month and built-in usage limits to keep the service reliable for everyone. Abuse of the AI features may result in limits being applied to your account.

Poly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app or its features, including AI generation and iCloud Sync, will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

You can stop using Poly at any time. We may suspend or limit access to online features if you misuse the app, violate these terms, or create risk for Poly, other users, or third-party services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poly and its makers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of the app, including lost data, lost profits, interrupted access, or reliance on AI-generated content.

We may update these terms as Poly grows. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
